M2 series of converters are simply add Ons designed to provide extended interfaces to fundamental gateways such as X1, U1, C1 and M1 series. Each module is a MODBUS (RS485 / Ethernet) slave with few channels of interfaces like 4-20mA, Digital Inputs and Relays. M2 becomes an extended arm for connecting additional instruments and sensors to prevailing setup without having to change the fundamental gateway providing the connectivity. Serving as a plug and play expansion module of your IoT ecosystem, it supports additional inclusion, making it an essential tool for Industrial IoT.
